| Other Campgrounds in the area:
Pinewood Lake Campground is about 8 miles west of town along Route 44. I've
stayed here a number of times and like the campground; however, they don't accept pets.
Myles Standish State Forest has a number of camp sites available as well as other
recreational facilities.
There's also a nice KOA campground on Route 44 about 24 miles west of Plymouth center.
This campground is open to the end of November in case you'd like to get down
during the Thanksgiving time.
Thanksgiving is a relative term in the Plymouth area. The local Native Americans
have a T-shirt that reads: "Thanks, but no thanks" regarding this
holiday. |
