Located between Route 30 and Route 340 on North Ronks Road in the village of Ronks, PA,
just 7 miles east of Lancaster. Central to Lancaster County's Amish community,
Hershey, Reading, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
I camped here about six years ago (after a League of American Bicyclists' rally in
Millersville) with my tent. I checked in this year with my mini motor home after my
Bon Ton Roulet bicycle tour of the Finger Lakes, New York, and just prior to a League of
American Bicyclists' rally in Altoona, PA.
It's in the perfect spot - adjacent to a working Amish farm and off the heavily
traveled routes. You can sit outside your camper, hear the clip clop of the Amish
horses and see the buggies going by.
On-site store, fax service, message service and message board, laundry room, game room,
playground for the kids, Luigi Lounge with a variety of scheduled events though the
camping year. Checkout time is a generous 2 p.m.
